CNN International Launches New Mobile Java Application at GSMA Mobile World Congress 2008

CNN and Samsung Offer Exclusive Demo to Delegates


Barcelona GSMA Mobile World Congress, 11 February 2008: CNN International will launch its new mobile Java application at the GSMA Mobile World Congress, it was announced today. The service combines dynamic graphics with high end interactive and personalisation features such as multiple category browsing, hourly on-demand 'CNN World News Now' updates and interactive news flipper, to offer mobile users an enriched, state-of-the-art experience for keeping up to date with news on the move.

 

CNN International has joined forces with Samsung to offer delegates at the GSMA Mobile World Congress an exclusive chance to preview the new Java application, developed specifically for CNN audiences worldwide.* The demonstrations will be made using the Samsung i560, a recently introduced smart-phone, at stand 8A139, Hall 8, Samsung's exhibition stand at Mobile World Congress.
